Equipment Upgrade - Guangdong Medical University Affiliated Dongguan First Hospital
The predecessor of Dongguan First Hospital Affiliated to Guangdong Medical University was Dongguan Tangxia Hospital. On December 2020, the Dongguan Municipal Government officially transferred the hospital to Guangdong Medical University for full management.
It was renamed as Guangdong Medical University Affiliated Dongguan First Hospital and officially became a directly affiliated hospital, second clinical college, general medicine college and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine research institute of Guangdong Medical University. It is a three-level comprehensive teaching hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and research.
The new hospital complex was completed and put into use in 2015, located at Jiaoping Road, Tangxia Town, Dongguan City, covering an area of 150 mu, with a total construction area of 155,000 square meters, and will soon have 1,200 hospital beds.
The hospital currently offers over 40 types of medical services. It is equipped with advanced equipment such as 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging, high-end spiral CT, linear accelerator, DSA, DR, four-dimensional ultrasound, fully automatic biochemical analyzer, and various endoscopic diagnosis systems.
The traditional strengths include the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Classics, Department of Neurology, Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Dentistry, and Critical Care Medicine. Cardiovascular interventional diagnosis, thyroid and breast disease treatment, and medical aesthetics are becoming new highlights.
Based on the standards of "high-end products, meticulous services, and the highest cost-effectiveness", Jiangmen Raydow has made every effort to collaborate closely with the hospital to create a harmonious medical environment.
The hospital has recently acquired several sets of electric examination tables EX-YE3002 (A) and medical examination chairs RD-YS03.
The new facilities can automatically change the bed sheets, which solves the problems of difficult cleaning of stains and inconvenient replacement of bed sheets. This maximally avoids cross-infection, providing patients with a more comfortable medical experience and improving work efficiency.
