Jiangmen People's Hospital was founded in 1946, and its predecessor was the Guangdong Provincial Fourth Hospital. After 79 years of construction and development, it has now become a three-level first-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention and health care, and rehabilitation. It is also a "One Hundred Civilized Hospitals" in Guangdong Province, a "Friendly Medical Institution for the Elderly" in Guangdong Province, and a "Civilized Unit" in Jiangmen City. The hospital has 1,200 beds, with 1,334 on-duty staff, including 1,247 professional personnel, 279 with senior titles and 444 with intermediate titles. Equipped with a variety of advanced medical equipment, it is the first public hospital in the region to introduce the German Zeiss SMILE3.0 femtosecond laser surgery system. It is equipped with Siemens 128-slice dual-photon CT, 2 large flat-panel 1000-mA digital subtraction angiography machines (DSA), extracorporeal life support system (ECMO), aortic balloon counterpulsation, Siemens 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging system (MRI), automatic breast full-volume full-digital high-definition B-ultrasound, electromagnetic navigation system, cryoablation system, Fujifilm Blue laser gastroscopy, German Storz laparoscope, etc. These instruments have enhanced the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment and the quality of service, and have brought patients a more comfortable and safe medical experience.
